Swan/Small's anarchic masterwork! I adore the art on this strip. It's rendered in a pretty standard "bigfoot" style, but it's just packed with visual gags and gorgeous details. The way every iota of space alloted is filled with side gags, especially in all of the signage, reminds me of those great Kurtzman Mad layouts, and the rendering has the loose-but-precise craft of Lucky Luke, Les Schtroumpfs, or Gaston Lagaffe. I'd be downright incredulous to hear that those Belgian fellows at Spirou were strangers to this strip.
And there's a bunch of great "plops," too!
