Because you demanded it, we're posting even more adventures of Diana Dillpickles, this time from the feature From Diana's Diary! This is another collaboration between Fred Schaefer and A.D. Condo, not a comic strip, but rather episodic text pieces enlivened by Condo illustrations. From what I've seen, this looks to be the way that comedy duo Osgar Und Adolf got their start too. We have a trio of stories for your reading pleasure: A Story of Summer Flirtation and In Six Chapters, Being Another Romance of Diana Dilpickles that Turned Out to be a Lemon from 1906, and Miss Dillpickles Succeeds as a Census Enumeratress--Yet She is Persistently Baffled By a Mysterious Mr. Hoofit from 1910. I realize we're all gathered here because of our love of early comics strips, don't let the fact that these are illustrated stories scare you off, they're still a lot of fun. If you've been longing to see the roots of our gal Diana, this is your chance.
